Project description

“Gospel Camp” is an 11-day-long dynamic youth event organized annually by Voice of the Gospel Foundation. MYN was challenged to translate the joyful atmosphere of the event into a functional website that both informed and provided a simple registration tool.

The layout of the website was to effectively utilize high quality professional photos provided by the organizers which reflected the event’s climate well. The content provided enabled the team to use a One Page design creating a dynamic web experience for the users. An additional feature, important to the client was a Content Management System to enable easy, fast changes to the content.

The website was to address two different groups. One was parents who, while they wanted their teens to attend, also wanted to be assured of a safe environment. The other group was teens who would be checking out the event in order to decide if they would participate in it. The entire design was to reflect a safe and fun atmosphere to satisfy both groups.

The dynamic social media presence of the foundation which attracted highly mobile traffic required a seamless Responsive Web Design to make the website as user friendly as possible on mobile devices. Additionally a newsletter integration was provided to enable easy email communication with people participating in the camp.
